We loved our stay...it was a beautiful spot and very quiet...we enjoyed our morning walks on the beach....sitting on the lanai drinking our morning coffee and watching the sunrise was so peacefull and quiet....I would definitely recommend Leinaala to all my friends and family....because we were there for a wedding we were very busy with that and did not get to do all the things on the island that we would have liked to do and will hopefully come back one day....Leinaala will stay at the top of my list for a great place to stay while visiting Maui....it was so beautiful there...

We really loved this condo, it is updated very nicely & it is very quiet. The view from the deck is amazing! We loved being just a few minutes from the beach! The air conditioning was not what we were used to(we are from Montana & have actual central air in our homes), but if you make sure to keep the fans running it isn't so bad. Polo Beach was our favorite spot to hang out. I loved being in Maui so much that I plan to return & possibly move there permanently in the future. Thank you for the use of this beautiful condo!

Words cannot describe the wonderful time we had at your condo in Maui! It was absolutely perfect in SO many ways…from the view to the ocean sounds to watching the whales early in the morning from the lanai. We so enjoyed ourselves and the weather was perfect…just enough sun and not too hot! You have really done everything imaginable to make your home livable and it makes it so much more enjoyable for your guests. We loved having the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella available to use. We really felt welcome by all the efforts you have put into making your home cozy. We will definitely have to plan our next vacation again.

We got back today and are still unpacking and reliving all the exciting things we experienced. We took a drive to Hana and stayed overnight (thanks for that advice!) and really loved that coastline. We snorkeled by Ahihi (thanks for THAT advice, too!) and loved all the colorful fish. We boogie-boarded at Little Beach (yes, the nudists were out in full force, but we didn’t mind…;) reminds us of Europe!), went whale-watching on a fun boat, went to the Old Lahaina Luau (WHAT a treat!) and even got to ride the Sugar Cane Train, which was Stig’s idea! There was really something for everyone.

We loved the sound of the ocean. Be sure to take the road to Hana and use the CD that is in the unit to guide you. Next time we will plan to have our dinner on the roof the view from up there was fantastic! Be sure to clarify the code to get in to the unit prior to getting there. The code we received was incorrect so we stood at the door until getting a call back with the correct code. If this unit is available next time we would love to stay there again. Mahalo!

Excellent place to stay in a nice quiet location. Definitely a home away from home that has everything you need. The sunset views from the lanai were stunning. Our family of 5 were very comfortable and the owners and property managers were a pleasure to deal with. With free calls, we were able to phone family back in Winnipeg on Christmas day (yeah, we ribbed them about the temperature difference!) Our one and only regret was that we eventually had to leave and get back to work! Mahalo!

This (Leinaala) was the best place we stayed in Hawaii. The service was excellent. Sandy was very helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

This was a great rental with a wonderful view. We liked that it was right on the beach but also just far enough from the main center of Kihei that the beach was not to be too busy as well. We did have a problem with the kitchen sink clogging but the people caring for the condo did all they could to fix it quickly and it didn't impede on us enjoying our trip. Well equipped and clean, we would surely rent this unit again. We loved the sunrise on Haleakala definitely worth getting up early, we left the unit at 4 am and got there with plenty of time. The Road to Hana was an adventure, I would recommend leaving early though in order to enjoy it all. Also the Luau at the Marriott was great, the dancers were awesome. It was a wonderful trip!!!

The view from the lanai was spectacular and the condo neat, tidy and well maintained.  It had more natural Hawaii feel than the large hotels and condos in Wailea.  The beach was quiet and the water amazingly warm … good for swimming.  Thanks for taking good care of us.

What a great place to stay for our first visit to Hawaii. In April, 2007, my wife and I, and our two young children spent a week at Maui Ocean View. The condo is clean, modern and gives a spectacular view of the ocean from its deck. The two bedrooms are perfect for a family of four, and more with the sleeper sofa. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to make snacks to a full course meal (try the mahimahi, a locally caught sport fish). The condo itself and the Menehune Shores condo complex are clean, the people friendly, with easy and quick access to all the amenities of Kehei. The onshore winds at night combined with the surf are all that was needed to send us to sleep after a morning on local beaches and an afternoon of relaxing in the shade or with the kids playing in the Menehune Shore’s pool (which I couldn’t get them out of), right beside the ocean. In fact, the condo is one of the few in the Kehei area that is, literally, right up against the ocean. We also ate at the superb on-site restaurant and lounge right at Menehune Shores, by the pool and with large windows open to the ocean breeze and it has incredible food. Next time we go to Maui Ocean View (and there will be a next time) we’ll try to catch the humpback whale migration earlier in the year, which should be good watching as the Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is just outside the condo windows. It was a wonderful rental on many levels. Beautiful view! Well equipped condo with everything we needed including the kitchen and towels. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well laid out. We enjoyed our stay and we intend to rent the same unit again!!!
